What is Niramaya?
Implemented by the National Trust under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Niramaya provides affordable health insurance to persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, and Multiple Disabilities. It covers hospitalization, therapies, corrective surgeries, regular check-ups, and more — ensuring financial relief and better healthcare access.

Eligibility & Application
Who can enroll and how to access the scheme
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Person with disability covered under the National Trust Act (Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Multiple Disabilities).
- Valid Disability Certificate (as per RPwD Act 2016).
- UDID card or valid UDID enrolment number.
- Application must be submitted through a Registered Organization (RO) associated with the National Trust or authorized implementing agency.
📝 How to Apply
- Connect with a Registered Organization (RO) affiliated with the National Trust or authorized implementing agency.
- Collect / download the Niramaya application form from the RO or official National Trust portal.
- Attach required documents: Disability Certificate, UDID card/enrolment number, guardian ID (if applicable).
- Submit the completed form to the RO, who will forward it for enrollment.
- Once enrolled, receive policy details and access cashless treatment or reimbursement as per scheme guidelines.
