Svastya overview
Bridging the rehabilitation access gap
People with Disabilities—especially those living in rural areas—often face significant barriers to quality healthcare and rehabilitation. Svastya aims to bridge this gap by taking need-based services closer to individuals, families and communities, including some of the most underserved regions of the country.
Our interventions support children, adults, caregivers and community stakeholders across different life stages, helping each person build functional capacity, confidence, independence and dignity.
Our interventions
Support across every stage of life
Svastya’s programmes strengthen health, education, independence and community participation through a life-cycle approach.
Early Intervention
Promotes age-appropriate growth and development while supporting children and their families during the critical early years.
Inclusive & Rehabilitation Programme
Supports children with disabilities and their caregivers through therapy, behaviour support, functional literacy and pre-vocational skills—preparing young people for adulthood with confidence and dignity.
Independent Living Programme
Empowers People with Disabilities to build functional independence, participate in their communities and contribute as productive members of society.
Sustainable Ecosystem Programme
Strengthens community linkages by sensitizing and building the capacity of government workers, health and rehabilitation professionals, parents, caregivers and peers.
